Generally gradient = (Y2-Y1)/(X2-x1)
from the above
y2= b
y1=0
x2=0
x1=a
so gradient= (b-0)/(0-a) = b/-a =-b/a

Scott took 4 2/5 hours to clean the bathroom. He took 2 1/4 hours to clean the den. How much longer did it take Scott to clean t
Anit [1.1K]
Find the difference between the two times

= 4 2/5 - 2 1/4
convert each mixed number to an improper fraction

= 22/5 - 9/4
change to common denominator (20)

= 88/20 - 45/20
subtract numerators only

= 43/20
change back to mixed number

= 2 3/20

ANSWER: It took 2 3/20 hours longer to clean the bathroom.

Hope this helps! :)

D) 7/2

Step-by-step explanation:

y=1/3 (ax-2)    =>(2,3)   so  x=2, y=3.

Determine if the function is continuous to its domain
Maurinko [17]

Yes, it is continuous to its domain

<h2>Explanation:</h2><h2></h2>

In order to find the domain of the function we need to get the restrictions:

1. From natural log:

x>0

2. From quotient:

x\neq 0

Matching these two restrictions the domain is:

x\in (0,\infty)

So the function is continuous to its domain because is defined for every x-value in the interval (0, \infty))
