For plant stem length, the dominant allele for height is T and the recessive allele is t. If a heterozygous parent for tall stem

Answer:

Tall(Tt), Tall(Tt), Short(tt), Short(tt),  50% Tall stems, 50% Short stems

Explanation:

If the Tall plant is heterozygous it means that there is a dominant allele for Tall (T), but the short (t) allele is still present. Therefore the genotype for this parent would be Tt. Homozygous means that there are two of the same allele, so in this case Homozygous recessive would be tt.The probability of offspring from these two parents can be determined from a Punnet Square or the Foil method ( which I have shown further ). Equation: Tt*tt

First-  First Terms of each parent; T*t

Outer- First Term of first parent and Last Term of second parent; T*t

Inner- Last Term of first parent and First Term of second parent; t*t

Last- Last Term of first parent and Last Term of second parent; t*t

If you need further help, let me know! :)

Good Luck -

How does the movement of materials across the cell membrane relate to an<br> organism’s survival?
ioda

I believe it relates because as we know the cell membrane is permeable meaning that allows oxygen, carbohydrates, food to enter the cell but it doesn't allow the entrance of large molecules that harm the cells.

After all the movement around it, matters because for example without food the mitochondria won't be able to create the energy and then with that energy, the nucleus to use it to complete the main the activities of the cell.

Hopefully this what you meant when you asked the question. Have a nice day/evening

Brilliant_brown [7]

Answer: Adenina

Explanation:
