How do you solve a a quadratic equation that equals something other than 0?
valkas [14]
I thought you made it zero...

Like for this one, adding 10 on both sides.

-13 would become -3 and then you would use the Quadratic formula.

Though I may be wrong

Which graph shows a proportional relationship between x and y? Please help me explain it and what's the answer A,B,C,D
Vesna [10]
Every proportional relationship is an equation like y = a number times 'x'. When you graph that equation it's a straight line that goes through the origin and every point on the line satisfies the equation. Line B is the only graph that looks like that. The others all have a piece of a proportional relationship. Their bottom pieces are proportional relationships but then they break and the top pieces are not.

Find the product<br> (-3)(8)
snow_lady [41]

Answer:

-24

Step-by-step explanation:

This is a simple multiplication problem. 8 times 3 is 24, and since one of the numbers is negative, the product (answer in multiplication) will be negative.

In multiplication and division of integers (positive and negative numbers), if the numbers have the same signs, the answer is ALWAYS positive, and if the numbers have different signs, the answer is ALWAYS negative.
