To know when a equation is false, it is simply incorrect. When a equation is true, it will be correct. An open sentence is a statement which contains a variable, and becomes either true or false, depending on the value that replaces the variable. Hope this helps!

What are the ratios for SIN A and COS A
miskamm [114]

Answer:

A

Step-by-step explanation:

A good trick for trigonometric functions is to remember SOHCAHTOA:

Sin=Opposite over Hypotenuse

Cos=Adjacent over Hypotenuse

Tan=Opposite over Adjacent

The red arrows on the attachment indicate where opposite, hypotenuse, and adjacent are for angle A.

So in this case, the sin of angle A (opposite over hypotenuse) would be \frac{24}{26} and cos A (adjacent over hypotenuse) would be \frac{10}{26}.

I hope this helps!

What is f(2) if f(x) = 2x-5 and f(4) if f(x) = -3x + 15
step by step please!
mash [69]

Answer:

f(2) = - 1 and f(4) = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

To evaluate f(2), substitute x = 2 into f(x), that is

f(2) = 2(2) - 5 = 4 - 5 = - 1

To evaluate f(4), substitute x = 4 into f(x)

f(4) = - 3(4) + 15 = - 12 + 15 = 3
