The Embargo by the U.S. on Japan was the best representative of an Embargo. The U.S. had forced a serious restriction on the exchanges of Japan back in the 1940's as a discipline for its activity of attacking the airfields of China. The embargo had completely held onto the fare of fuel and oil fare to Japan.
