He was similar to the Puritans of the Massachusetts Bay Colony They were both Christians in the English tradition, but Williams was tolerant of other peoples' beliefs. The Puritans were not tolerant at all, and they drove out or killed others (such as Quakers) in the colony who didn't think as they did.

How is "wasnt college an investment" a rhetorical question?
stira [4]

Answer:

The statement "wasn't college an investment" is a rhetorical question because it's more of a statement of fact than an interrogative statement. As such the speaker isn't looking for an answer, but is instead making a point.

I hope this helps. If it doesn't I could probably explain further.

clark changed from a gangly, uncomfortable child to a) a happy, successful adult b) a sad brooding adult c) a shy awkard adult d
Cerrena [4.2K]
Clark changed from a gangly, uncomfortable child to A. a happy, successful adult.
As opposed to his aunt who practically raised him, Clark changed positively, whereas her transition was quite negative. She changed from an accomplished musician into a farmlady who would never become satisfied about her life again. On the other hand, Clark's transition from a shy kid to a satisfied man is quite a different story.
