Why is an angioplasty an incorrect treatment for an aneurysm?

Angioplasty is the technique of mechanically widening narrowed/obstructed arteries, and it's usually done to treat atherosclerosis. So basically this is the process of putting in almost like a balloon in your arteries to widen it for proper blood flow, this is why it is called a balloon catheter. Heres a picture below to show how it would work. So the reason why Angioplasty would not be a wise decision to treat an aneurysm is that an aneurysm is basically a blood-filled bulge in the wall of a blood vessel. So if you would use Angioplasty as a treatment it would not work ,and in result the actual aneurysm could/will burst from the pressure of the balloon catheter placed from the Angioplasty treatment which can lead to death.

Janis tore a ligament in her ankle. Until the injury heals, she is at most risk for which of the following? dislocating bones lo
bulgar [2K]

Answer:

The correct answer is ''dislocating bones.''

Explanation:

When the bone " pops out" or dislodges from its place (joint), a dislocation occurs. An ankle dislocation, like any other joint, occurs when the 2 articular surfaces of the ankle separate, in this case when the talus ( together with the rest of the foot) " pops out of place" and is no longer in contact with the surface of the tibia-fibula. This leads to the complete breakdown of the ligaments that hold the joint in place, causing the bones to " pops out." Producing significant deformities in the affected joint.
