Answer:

The manual cost that will take to recreate by the firm is $ 90.51

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Number of words the manual contains= 16000

Number of words typed by a clerk in one hour and 20 minutes = 4160

To Find:

The total cost for recreating the manual = ?

Solution:

Step 1:  Finding the Number of hours is need to type 4160 words :

= 1\frac{20}{60} hours

\\\\=1\frac{1}{3} hours

\\\\=\frac{4}{3} hours

So it takes  \frac{4}{3} hours to type 4160 word

Step 2 :  Finding the Number of hours is needed to type 1 word

= \frac{4160}{\frac{4}{3}}

=4160 \times \frac{3}{4}

= 3120 words per hour

Step 3 :  Finding the Number of hours is needed to type 16000 words

=\frac{\text{ total number of words}} {\text{ number of words written per hour}}

Substituting the values

= \frac{16000}{3120}

=  5.1282 hours

Step 4 :  Finding the cost for recreating the manual.

= number of hours  x cost per hour

=   5.1282 x $17.65

=  90.51

Can someone please show me how<br><br> 19169000*e^(0.15)= 222712201<br><br> When e= 2.7182818284?
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

It doesn't. x = 22 271 201

Step-by-step explanation:

You are going to need a calculator no matter how you do it.

x =19 169 000 \times e^{0.15}

(a) The direct method

x = 19 169 000\times 2.718 281 828^{0.15} = 19 169 000 \times 1.161 834 243 = 22 271 201

(b) The indirect method

\ln \left (19 169 000\times 2.718 281 828^{0.15} \right ) = \ln(19 169 000) + 0.15 = 16.768 805 + 0.15 = 16.918 804\\\\e^{16.918 804} = 22 271 201

Value of m varies directly as value of n and n=5 when m=12. What is n when m=18?
ohaa [14]
Simplify the problem down, so:

m = 12 & n = 5
m = 6 & n = 2.5 <span>(divided each number by 20)
</span>
Now m is a factor of 18. Multiply each number by 3.
Answer: m = 18 & <span>n = 7.5</span>

For quadrilateral ABCD, determine the most precise name for it. A(-2,3), B(9,3), C(5,6) and D(2,6). Show your work and explain.
horsena [70]
To solve this problem you must apply the proccedure shown below:

 1. You have the following points given in the problem above:

 A<span>(-2,3), B(9,3), C(5,6) and D(2,6)

 2. When you plot them, you obtain the figure shown in the graph attached.

 3. Therefore, as you can see, the answer is:  the figure is a trapezoid, which is define as a quadrilateral with two parallel sides.</span>
