Area of a circle is pi times radius squared.
Diameter is basically radius times 2  
16 divided by 2 is 8
So you do pi times 8 squared
8 squared is 64
You do pi times 64
or 3.14 times 64
the area is 200.96

Explanation: Y is 90 because you can see that it is a right angle! To find X you can find the 3rd angle that is in the triangle with Y in it (which is 68) and then because X is supplementary to that angle we just found you can do 180-68 which is 112!
