When you hyperventilate (breathe too fast), respiratory alkalosis (elevated blood ph) can occur, which can cause you to faint. a

common but potentially dangerous method to reverse respiratory alkalosis is to hold a paper bag over your mouth and take normal breaths, thereby rebreathing the exhaled air. how might this method reverse respiratory alkalosis?

When you are hyperventilating, you are really taking in too much oxygen and the balance between O and CO2 is disrupted. By breathing in a paper bag, this can reverse respiratory alkalosis by allowing you to take back in your own carbon dioxide. Thus bringing down your elevated blood pH.

EXPLANATION:-

Since there was already an anti resistant microorganisms that actuallly have been able to survive through the antibiotics, natural selection states that if one survives and is well adapted to a certain environment, then offspring from that survivor will be created and beneficial traits for the offspring will be received having them a chance for survival. So, the microorganisms spread and spread offspring with that anti resistance in which is the Survival of the Fittest. Until there are no microorganisms that aren’t resistant the lastahas strep throat then returns.

After taking antibiotics for several weeks, a patient develops a severe bacterial infection in his intestines. The doctor claims
Leokris [45]

Answer:

Before the antibiotic, the ‘good’ bacteria had colonized her intestines and formed colonies that made up her biome. These colonies out-compete other bacteria, including ‘bad’ bacteria that tried to grow in the intestines hence protecting her intestines from infection.

However, the antibiotics wiped out the established colonies of ‘good’ bacteria –destroying her biome- and gave room for recolonization of the intestines by bacteria. The secondary succession gave a chance for the ‘bad’ bacteria to also thrive and cause her massive infections.
