san4es73 [151]
Trade was the motivating factor. The silk road accross Asia was besieged by bandits & required bribes to a number of nations to transport goods to & from Asia. Therefore a sea route would be a much safer & less expensive means of getting trade goods to & from Asia.

frutty [35]

Islam acknowledges the prophets of Christianity. Christianity and Islam were the monotheistic faiths which has its roots in the lineage of Abraham.

Abraham obliged God’s laws and in order to appease God, he went to the extent to kill his own son, God’s angels prevented the sacrifice.

The son involved is believed to be Isaac in Christianity and Ishmael in Arabic. For Muslims Muhammad is prophet who received God’s revelations from the arch angel Gabriel who in Arabic is Jibril.

In what ways is Thomas Jefferson's ideals politically irrelevant to today's society?
babymother [125]

Answer:

He named "absolute acquiescence in the decisions of the majority the vital principle of republics, from which there is no appeal but to force." The principle demanded freedom of opinion and debate, including the right of any minority to turn itself into a new majority.

You can't force people into doing what you want and that turning a minority into a new minority because it is not that easy to became a new minority in just one day
