The Massachusetts Bay Colony was different from the Plymouth Colony because in Massachusetts there was a more prosperous economy (B).

Further Explanation

Plymouth colony was the first permanent English settlement in North America. The Plymouth Company, a company in England had an agreement to finance the settlers' trip to North America. The settler, also known as The Pilgrims, would repay the company from profits they made from agriculture, timber, fur, and fish. But when they already arrived in America, they faced many problems to settle in because of the weathers and many diseases. The colonists struggled for many years to make any money and were deeply in debt to their investors, the Plymouth Company who paid their trip to North America. In 1691 Plymouth Colony and Massachusetts Bay merged

... The USA had atomic weapons and the USSR did not. (The US would not share that technology with the Soviets.)
... The USSR did not assure that free and fair elections took place in Eastern Europe -- it saw to it that Soviet-aligned governments were installed there.
... Tensions over the East Germany / West Germany and East Berlin / West Berlin division of territory.

Which of the following had the GREATEST influence in creating differences in British English versus American English
QveST [7]

The correct answer is: Cultural values.

Noah Webster believed it was important for America to assert its cultural independence from Britain through language.

INTERPRETATION-

The British actually introduced the language to the Americas when they reached these lands by sea between the 16th and 17th centuries. At that time, spelling had not yet been standardized. It took the writing of the first dictionaries to set in stone how these words appeared.

In the UK, the dictionary was compiled by London-based scholars. Meanwhile, in the United States, the lexicographer was a man named Noah Webster. Allegedly, he changed how the words were spelled to make the American version different from the British as a way of showing cultural independence from its mother country.

Therefore, we can conclude that the correct option is D.
