The Massachusetts Bay Colony was different from the Plymouth Colony because in Massachusetts there was a more prosperous economy (B).

Further Explanation

Plymouth colony was the first permanent English settlement in North America. The Plymouth Company, a company in England had an agreement to finance the settlers' trip to North America. The settler, also known as The Pilgrims, would repay the company from profits they made from agriculture, timber, fur, and fish. But when they already arrived in America, they faced many problems to settle in because of the weathers and many diseases. The colonists struggled for many years to make any money and were deeply in debt to their investors, the Plymouth Company who paid their trip to North America. What belief did the united states use to justify its takeover of the philippines?
nadezda [96]
Imperialists around the world used ideas of racial, national, and cultural superiority to justify imperialism. One of these ideas was Social Darwinism which was the belief that life consists of competitive struggles in which only the fittest survive. Social Darwinists felt that certain nations and races were superior to others and therefore destined to rule over inferior peoples and cultures. In an 1899 interview president McKinley explained "We could not give (the Philippines) back to Spain- that would be cowardly and dishonorable." instead he argued that the United States had no choice but to "take them all, and educate the Filipinos, and uplift and civilize...them.".

List 4 accomplishments of Pericles?
Andrew [12]

Answer:

Pericles ruled Athens around 461 to 429 BC. One of Pericles’ achievements was organising the construction of the Acropolis. He also was in charge of the manufacture of the Parthenon. Pericles led many successful military campaigns. For example the Peloponnesian war, Pericles was the one who came up with a great strategy. Becoming a prominent statesman and a general in Athens was also a great achievement of his. Pericles’ last major campaign was in 440 BC. Samos, one of Athens allies, with a fleet of its own, revolted Athens and nearly succeeded. The mission to recover Samos was very costly but it was a great success. This became an achievement that later Athenian generals measured their achievements with.
