3 0

The equation is 4 meatballs for every adult and 3 for every child. Replace a and c and solve:

M = 4(20) + 2(8)

M = 80 + 16

M = 96

They need 96 meatballs.

Solve by substitution. Show each step of your work.

2x + y = 7

3x + 5y = 14
Monica [59]
Alright...simple...showing all steps.. ;)

You have the equations...

2x+y=7
and
3x+5y=14

To be able to even solve for any of the variables...multiply the equations by...2...and..3...

2x+y=7----*3--> 6x+3y=21
and
3x+5y=14-----*2--->6x+10y=28

Thus,

6x+3y=21
-
6x+10y=28

=========

-7y=-7

y=1

Now, plug y back into any of the original equations....we'll use 2x+y=7 in this case....

2x+(1)=7

2x+1=7
      -1  -1

2x=6

x=3

Thus, the point of intersection for these two equations is (3,1)

[BRAINLIEST] a. Nick deposits money in a Certificate of Deposit account (CD). The balance (in dollars) in his account t years af
crimeas [40]

Answer:

(1.06)0 = 1 and positive powers of 1.06 are larger than 1, thus the minimum value N(t) attains, if t≥0, is 400.

From the point of view of the context, a CD account grows in value over time so with a deposit of $400 the value will never drop to $399.

musickatia [10]

The sum of -2 and -7 is given as follows :

-2 + (-7)

In mathematical operations, + * - is - therefore

Now soo we have,

Solve the inequality
Marianna [84]

Answer:

The answer to your question is the letter A) x ≥ 0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Inequality

                           2(4x - 3) ≥ -3(3x) + 5x

Process

1.- Expand

                            8x - 6 ≥  - 9x + 5x

2.- Simplify

                            8x - 6 ≥ - 4x

3.- Add 6 units in both sides

                           8x - 6 + 6 ≥ -4x + 6

4.- Simplify

                                8x ≥ -4x + 6

5.- Add 4x in both sides

                                8x + 4x ≥ -4x + 6 + 4x

6.- Simplify

                                12x ≥ 6

7.- Divide by 12 both sides

                                12x/12 ≥ 6/12

8.- Simplify

                                    x ≥ 1/2  or 0.5
