Isolate the x. Do the opposite of PEMDAS. First, add 30 to both sides

-6 (+30) > - 30 (+30) - 4x

24 > -4x

Isolate the x. Divide -4 from both sides. Note that when dividing a negative, you must flip the sign.

24/-4 > -4x/-4

24/-4 > x

-6 < x

-6 < x is your answer

hope this helps

Hey there!!

Remember :- While solving inequalities, if you divide a negative number of both signs, we will have to switch the sign.

Given Question:

-6 > -30 - 4x

Add 30 on both sides

24 > -4x

Divide by -4 on both sides

Switch the > sign to < , as we are dividing the equation by a negative number.

-6 < x

x > -6 is the answer

Hope it helps!

Answer:t= 9

Step-by-step explanation: 10t =90

                                           divide 10 on both sides

                                            so 10t /10 and 90/10

                                             which means t=9

During the past year, Zara and Ivan each read 2 books, but George read 7, Ali read 12, and Marsha read 25. The median number of
gogolik [260]

Answer:

D = 7

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the median, we must first list the amount of books each person read, and then put them in order.

2, 2, 7, 12, 25

These are already in order from smallest to greatest, which is awesome. We can then cross out one number from each side until we end up with either one or two numbers. We then find the average of those 1 or 2 numbers to find our median.

2, 3, 7, 12, 25

cross 2 and 25 out

3, 7, 12

cross 3 and 12 out

7

Our median is thus 7

Learning goal: to understand the rules for computing dot products. let vectors a=(2,1,−4), b=(−3,0,1), and c=(−1,−1,2). part a -
miv72 [106K]
For this case we have the following vectors:
a = (2,1, -4)

b = (- 3,0,1)

c = (- 1, -1,2)
The dot product of two vectors is a scalar.
The point product consists of multiplying component by component and then adding the result of the multiplication of each component.
For the product point of the vectors a and b we have:
a.b = (2,1, -4). (- 3,0,1)

a.b = (2) (- 3) + (1) (0) + (-4) (1)

a.b = - 6 + 0 - 4

a.b = - 10
Answer:

The product point of the vectors a and b is:

a.b = - 10
