Midpoint formula : (x1 + x2) / 2, (y1 + y2) / 2
(2,6)...x1 = 2 and y1 = 6
(x,y)...x2 = x and y2 = y
sub
(2 + x) / 2, (6 + y) / 2 = (4,10)

(2 + x) / 2 = 4
2 + x = 4 * 2
2 + x = 8
x = 8 - 2
x = 6

(6 + y)/2 = 10
6 + y = 10 * 2
6 + y = 20
y = 20 - 6
y = 14

so ur other endpoint is (6,14) <==

Answer: Other point F ( 6 ,14).

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The midpoint of EF is M(4, 10). One endpoint is E(2, 6).

To find : Find the coordinates of the other endpoint F.

Solution : We have given that

Line EF have mid point M ( 4 ,10)

One end point E ( 2 ,6) .

Let other point F ( )

Mid point segment formula ( M) : .

= 4

Plug = 2.

= 4

On multiplying both side by 2

2 + = 8

= 8- 2

= 6.

= 10.

Plug = 6.

= 10.

On multiplying both side by 2

6 + = 20

= 20 - 6

= 14.

Therefore, Other point F ( 6 ,14).

Each calendar will sell for 5 each. Write an equation to model the total income, y, for selling x calendars
OleMash [197]

Answer:

y = 5x

Step-by-step explanation:

If each calendar, x, sells for $5 each, you would multiply 5·x because $5 is how much you earn per calender. Therefore, your total income would be 5 times the number of calendars you sell, or in equation "language", y = 5x

In isosceles $\triangle abc$ (with $ab = ac$), point $d$ lies on $ab$ such that $cd = cb$. if $\angle adc = 115^\circ$, what is
Nuetrik [128]

1. Angles ADC and CDB are supplementary, thus

m∠ADC+m∠CDB=180°.

Since m∠ADC=115°, you have that m∠CDB=180°-115°=65°.

2. Triangle BCD is isosceles triangle, because it has two congruent sides CB and CD. The base of this triangle is segment BD. Angles that are adjacent to the base of isosceles triangle are congruent, then

m∠CDB=m∠CBD=65°.

The sum of the measures of interior angles of triangle is 180°, therefore,

m∠CDB+m∠CBD+m∠BCD=180° and

m∠BCD=180°-65°-65°=50°.

3. Triangle ABC is isosceles, with base BC. Then

m∠ABC=m∠ACB.

From the previous you have that m∠ABC=65° (angle ABC is exactly angle CBD). So

m∠ACB=65°.

4. Angles BCD and DCA together form angle ACB. This gives you

m∠ACB=m∠ACD+m∠BCD,

m∠ACD=65°-50°=15°.

Answer: 15°.

Dara has 12 counters. Diego has 7 counters. How many fewer counters does Diego have?
Vladimir [108]

Answer: Diego has 5 fewer counters.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find the answer, you need to find the difference between the amount of counters Dara has compared to Diego.

(Amount Dara has) - (Amount Diego has) = Difference

12 - 7 = 5
