Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

Growth of actin filaments to form bulges in the plasma membrane.

Explanation:

Actin filaments is a vital element in the body of unicellular organisms such as amoeba which is responsible for the movement of unicellular organism from one place to another. It also helps in the division of the cell and increase its population. This actin filament also helps the amoeba by engulf food substance for growth and survival.

How do enzymatic catalysts increase the rates of reactions?
dsp73
For a reaction to occur, substrate particles need to collide with each other with enough force (To overcome activation energy), at the right orientation for a successful collision, causing a reaction to occur.

Enzyme catalysts are a type of protein that has a specific 3 dimensional conformation. They have specific reaction sites called active sites. Substrates collides with the enzyme and binds to the active site if it fits to the specific 3 dimensional conformation. This allows bonds to be either formed or broken for reactions to occur.

This process provides an alternative reaction pathway with lower activation energy to enable the rate of reaction to increase.

Draw a pyramid of energy to show how energy flows through the antarctic food web. Use
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

The desired graph of the Antarctic food web is attached:

Explanation:

A food web shows the taking care of connections between the life forms in a specific biological system, fundamentally what eats what. It shows how vitality courses through the biological system. Creatures can be separated into producers, different level of consumers, and decomposers inside a food web:

producers in the Antarctic marine biological system are: ocean ice green growth, phytoplankton, macroalgae, microalgae

primary, second-level, third level, fourth level, and fifth-degree of consumers are straightforwardly or by implication rely upon producers as they structure a significant food hotspot for creatures that feed by grazing. Models incorporate snails, imps, and corals. These consumers thusly will be eaten by different creatures, for example, ocean stars. At the head of the food web, there are bigger consumers, for example, fish, penguins, and seals. energy moves from producers to the consumers and there is a large part of the energy loss during the process only 10% of energy gets to the subsequent trophic level.
