Since you know it should be between 3 and 4, it should be 3. something. So now, just go up to 1/2, or 1/3, or etc until you know it's the product of 9 and 12. I have figured out that it would be 3 and 1/10 and 3 and 2/10. I have checked, and they both have the product of 9 and 12. And it is between 3 and 4.
