Strike441 [17]

Answer: 25 + 3n

Step-by-step explanation:

Hi, the answer is lacking the last part:

Write an expression for the amount of money he makes this week.

So, to answer this we have to write an expression:

The fixed amount that he earns per week (25) plus the product of the amount he earns per subscription (3) and the number of subscriptions sold (n) , must be equal to his weekly earnings.

Mathematically speaking:

25 + 3n

How do u find the scientific notation for this problem
dedylja [7]
You put both parentheses in standard form, then divide as if it were a normal problem. Once the quotient is found, move the decimal point to the right. Every time you move one space to the left, increase the exponent by one but also divide your quotient by 10
example:
10³/10²
1000/100
10
10=10^{1}

The area of the yard was 6,756 square yards. The width of the yard was 12 yards. What was the length of the yard?
Igoryamba

The length of the yard was 563 yards.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

The area of the yard = 6,756 square yards and

The width of the yard (b) = 12 yards

To find, the length of the yard (l) = ?

We know that,

Area of the rectangle = Length(l) × Breadth(b)

⇒ l × 12 = 6,756

⇒ l =\dfrac{6,756}{12}

⇒ l = 563 yards

Thus, the length of the yard was 563 yards.
