Consciousness is caused by a type of white noise that is produced by the constant flicker of billions of axons and dendrites in the brain. The amount of noise is generated by a conglomeration of various neurotransmitters like dopamine, glutamate, serotonin and adenosine - which are randomly released by individual axon nerves and cross a small gap called a synaptic cleft and absorbed by a dendrite nerve on the other side.

The quantity and quality of the neurotransmitters being released in various sections of the brain generates what we see as a waking cognition in all animal life such as frogs, lizards, dogs and chimpanzees.

Human level consciousness is generated by the fusion of 3 sets of brains that are interacting with each other - the left and right hemispheres and the frontal lobe.

The left/right brains generate a constant parade of images, memories, sounds and expressions and is filtered out by the frontal brain acting as a type of referee which we perceive as free will.

Changing the levels of neurotransmitters in your brain or diluting them with antagonist drugs will alter your personality whether you like it or not. Your perception of morality, loyalty and virtue will be superceded by a cascading set of new values depending on the chemicals being released across the synaptic clefts.

Many individuals are born with a brain that has a defective balance of proper neurotransmitters and as a result, suffer from lifelong psychological disorders.

Contrary to popular opinion, consciousness is not immune to damage and decay. When your physical brain begins to die off, that person known as *you* dies off as well. Your memories, experiences, and emotions - are directly caused by these dendrites in your head. Destroy some of them and memories will be lost forever - never to return. Destroy enough dendrites and you will become imbecillic - unable to recognize family, friends and favorite places. If all of us had "souls", then the only thing that brain damage would do is incapacitate our ability to move the body. Our memories, emotions and experiences should all remain indestructible and able to survive.

This is now known to be false.

Destruction to your brain parts results in the corresponding destruction to the personality it contains. You will not survive intact without a fully functioning physical brain. HOPE THIS HELPS MARK ME BRAINLEST IF RIGHT!;-)

B. Solve
Anton [14]

Answer:

45 km/hr

Explanation:

total distance = 90

Increased speed = x+15

90/x - 90/x+15=1/2

90(1/x - 1/x+15)=1/2

90(x+15-x/x^2+15x)=1/2

equation is:

x^2+15x-2700=0

x^2+60x-45x-2700=0

x(x+60)-45(x+60)=0

(x+60)(x-45)=0

x= -60, x=45

reject the negative value = -60

usual speed=45 km/ hr
