I believe that the correct answer is D because it is already stated once that they need the sirens so it is giving us a fact that has already been stated.

I think the answer you're looking for is D. It would make sense that D is the answer (to me at least) because: The preceding Sentences do not repeat each other, but they do stress the need to get the alert system, however the other sentences may not say it in the same way, the last sentence could already be concluded by the reader. (I hope this helps, I'm 75% - 85% sure this answer is right, either D or B, I would lean towards D, but if it comes down to it go with your gut - advice that seems lame that actually helps A LOT)

Imagine you are competing in a track and field race. Describe three different ways in which your neurons will play a role in you
valkas [14]

Answer:

The neurons are the basic and important units of our nervous system.

Explanation:

Neurons are important. They are the basic part of the nervous system of our brain. They are usually called the information messenger. They carry information from different parts of our body to the brain.

In the context, the three ways in which neuron will play a role in my race are :

1. It will signal the brain the information of when to start the race and in which direction I have to run.

2. It will provide signal to my brain at what speed I have to run in the race.

3. The neurons will activate my brain that will send signal to my body to control the movements of my legs and arms.

In the book if I stay, why does Mia hate Adam's shows?
Ahat [919]
Mia loves Adam's music, and loves him, but she hates the loud obnoxious screaming, as well as the crowds. She always stays in the back of the clubs, because they are lonely. She is very shy and not very outgoing, so she doesn't want to associate with random crazy, drunk people she doesn't know. I love this book, and if you haven't already read it, I am going to suggest the sequel, "Where she went". <span />
