Por otra parte, diferentes metodologías desarrolladas con el objetivo de matar células tumorales mamarias también incluyen la quimioterapia, la cual usa drogas para reducir el número de células cancerosas, y la radioterapia, que consiste en el uso de altas dosis de radiación para destruir las células tumorales.
