Okay let’s go through this together I’ll break it down.

2x+3/ x-2 = 38/12

Cross multiply
12(2x+3) = 38(x-2)
24x+36 = 38x-76
- 36= -36
—————————-
24x= 38x-112
-38x= -38x
———————-
-14x = -112
—————— divided
-14x = -14

X= 8

(5√2-4√3)^2=(5√2)^2+(4√3)^2-2(5√2)(4√3)

=25*2+16*3-10√2*4√3

=50+48-10√2*4√3

How do I solve inscribed angles?
Slav-nsk [51]
The triangles are similar so the angles are equal
2x^2 - 2 = 10x - 2
2x^2 - 2 - 10x + 2 = 0
2x^2 - 10x = 0
2x(x - 5) = 0
2x = 0       OR        x - 5 = 0
x = 0         OR        x = 5
0 doesn't make sense, because IF I plug 0 into 2x^2 - 2 I get a negative number.  We need to use 5 to find the angle measure

2(5^2) - 2 = 2(25) - 2 = 50 - 2 = 48 degrees or the measure of CED

emmainna [20.7K]

Answer

≈75.36ft

Step-by-step explanation:

C=2πr

C=24π

C≈75.3982

Or, if you substitute π with 3.14 instead:

C=2(3.14)r

C=6.28(12)

C=75.36

Hope this helps!  Tell me if you have any questions!

Andrew is thinking of a number less than 52 and greater than 40. his number has three ones. what is Andrew's number?
butalik [34]
I would say 43 because 43 has 3 ones (that’s what makes the 3) and it’s less than 52 and greater than 50.
