Add all bead colors up

42+28+12+18=100

add up yellow and green

42+28=70

now find out how many beads are not yellow or green by subtracting that from 100

100-70=30

so the first answer is 30/100 -> 3/10 -> 30%

now add up red and green beads

28+18=46

so your next answer is

46/100 -> 23/50 -> 46%

The price of an item has dropped to $42 today. Yesterday it was $140. Find the percentage decrease.
ArbitrLikvidat [17]
The item has 42/140 * 100,or 30% of its initial value. That means that it lost 70% of its value, so 70% is the percent decrease.

Pani-rosa [81]

Answer:

P(You\ n\ Anna\ n\ Kevin) = \frac{1}{4913}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

Total\ Employees = 17

To\ Select = 3

Required

Determine the probability of selecting You, Anna and Kevin

Assuming the selection process is fair;

Each employee has a probability of;

Probability = \frac{1}{17}

So:

P(You\ n\ Anna\ n\ Kevin) = P(You) * P(Anna) * P(Kevin)

P(You\ n\ Anna\ n\ Kevin) = \frac{1}{17} * \frac{1}{17} * \frac{1}{17}

P(You\ n\ Anna\ n\ Kevin) = \frac{1}{4913}
