First, let's look at the ones with 0.

(0,16) -> since the x is zero, it would be on the y-axis.

(3,0) -> since the y is zero, it would be on the x-axis.

Now, let me add a picture of the quadrants, so you can see where the points belong.

(2,-12) -> IV
(-1,2) -> II
(36.7, 3.9) -> I
(-5/8, -5 1/3)-> III

I hope this helps!

If the limit of f(x) as x approaches 8 is 3, can you conclude anything about f(8)?
natali 33 [55]

If the limit of f(x) as x approaches 8 is 3, can you conclude anything about f(8)? The answer is No. We cannot. See the explanation below.

<h3>What is the justification for the above position?</h3>

Again, 'No,' is the response to this question. The justification for this is that the value of a function does not depend on the function's limit at a given moment.

This is particularly clear when we consider a question with a gap. A rational function with a hole is an excellent example that will help you answer this question.

The limit of a function at a position where there is a hole in the function will exist, but the value of the function will not.

<h3>What is limit in Math?</h3>

A limit is the result that a function (or sequence) approaches when the input (or index) near some value in mathematics.

Limits are used to set continuity, derivatives, and integrals in calculus and mathematical analysis.

Find the perimeter of a towel thay measures 2 feet by 3/4 foot
levacccp [35]
A typical towel is the shape of a rectangle.
Rectangles have 2 opposite pairs of congruent (equal) sides.
To find perimeter, find the sums of all the sides.

The measures of the towel's sides are:
2 feet
2 feet
3/4 foot
3/4 foot

Add these together to find the perimeter.

2 + 2 + 0.75 + 0.75 = 5.5

The perimeter of the towel is 5.5 feet.

Hope this helps!

I go to a baseball field and survey the people in the stands, asking what is your favorite sport. Is this a fair sample of peopl
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

No.

Step-by-step explanation:

If you go to a baseball park and ask what their favorite sport is most will probably say baseball. Just as if you go to a basketball court, most would respond with basketball as their favorite sport. I suggest not going to anything related to sports and asking random people.
