What is the error in CONTENT'S ARE FLAMMABLE

English

Answer:

"Contents" shouldn't be a contraction because when it is it creates an incoherent sentence For example, with the contraction removed, this says "Content is are flammable." Sounds like a toddler said that, right? "Content" should change to it's plural form for this sentence to make sense again.

Answer:

There is a apostrophe in CONTENTS. There is not supposed to be one there.

Explanation:

When you have an apostrophe you are saying that something belongs to you.

OR when you are saying "he is" you would probably say He's" (Sorry I forgot what that word is /:)

Why did President Kennedy not want to go on with the March on Washington even though he supported the movement (Explain his reas
Alik [6]
He was afraid that he would lose the necessary support from the south. He was a president during a tough time when it came to cooperation with the congress. Without the southern support he wouldn't be the president, and he feared that by going on the march he would alienate voters. This is why even when he endorsed them he didn't want to fully support them because he didn't want to make southerners angry since the south was a huge voters base. He didn't want to push civil rights too rapidly.

<span>'The best holiday I ever had' The best holiday I ever had was when I went to Florida with my family. When my Dad told me I was very excited because it was going to be my first time in the 'sun shine state of America'. I asked my dad when where we going and he said 'we are going on the 26TH July and coming home on the9th August' but the bad thing was I had to wait two months to go. Time flew by and the next thing I knew I was packing my suitcase, I packed in lots of t-shirts and shorts. My mum packed in lots of bottles of sun cream because she is the one who goes on and on saying 'be careful in the sun'. After all the bags were packed into the boot we all were on our way to fourteen days of sunshine. When we got to the airport we left our luggage with the airport staff to put it on to the plane....</span>
