By adding all the measurements, you have a total of 22 cups.

there are 4 cups in a quart and 2 cups in a pint.

he can fill a maximum of 5 quarts.

4*5 =20

with the remaining 2 cups he can fill 1 pint.

keisha sold 8 ribbons and 6 pins at a craft fair.she sold the ribbons for $3 each and the pons $2 each. How much money did keish
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

Since the ribbons are $3 each and she sold 8, she earned $24 from the ribbons. Keisha sold 6 pins which cost $2 each so she earned $12. 24+12=36, therefore Keisha earned $36 dollars in total.

Pre-Calc<br><br> Please help with the question highlighted in red

Believe it or not, this is the second version of Q is very similar to the first, even though it doesn't really look like it. We can represent the second version as a * (1 + r)^t

See the similarity between this and the first version? Thus, we can represent what is given in the problem as:
Q = a * b^t  = a * (1 + r)^t

Thus, b = 1 + r. Since b = 0.8, we can find r.
0.8 = 1 + r
r = -0.2, or r = -20%.

Graph 4x2+4y2=64. What are the domain and range?
worty [1.4K]

ANSWER

EXPLANATION

The given equation is

4 {x}^{2}  + 4 {y}^{2} = 64

We divide through by 4 to obtain;

{x}^{2}  + {y}^{2} = 16

This can again be written as:

{x}^{2}  + {y}^{2} =  {4}^{2}

This is the equation of a circle centered at the origin with radius 4 units.

The graph is shown in the attachment.

A radio station broadcasts a signal over an area with a 120-mile diameter. The population density of the area is 100 people per
Leya [2.2K]
Determine the area of the circular region that can be reached by the radio station signal using the equation.
                               A = πD²/4
A is area and D is diameter. Using 3.14 as pi value.
                             A = (3.14)(120 mi)² / 4
                             A = 11304 mi²
Knowing that in each of the squared miles, 100 people live.
  total population receiving the signal = 11304 mi² x (100 people / 1 mi²)
                                    = 1,130,400
Thus, the answer is letter C.
