Nitroglycerin relaxes the arteries and veins. It pools the blood in the extremities dropping blood pressure. Chest pain relief can be expected in 1-3 minutes. Because it is administered sublingually, it is absorbed directly in the bloodstream. If the chest pain did not improve in 5 minutes, it should be repeated. It can be repeated the third time( after 5 minutes from second dose). If the pain doesn't subside after 3 doses, emergency care is needed.

In humans, if a non-disjunction event led to an individual with a genotype of xxy, they would.
k0ka [10]

In humans, if a non-disjunction event led to an individual with a genotype of XXY, they would be male because they have a Y chromosome.

What are X and Y chromosomes?

The X chromosome and Y chromosome are homo-logous chromosomes that determine the se_x in mammals.

The presence of the Y chromosome is indicative of the males, whereas two X chromosomes are females in normal conditions.

Non-disjuntion refers to the faulty separation of homo-logous chromosomes during meiosis.

Suppose a female began menstruating at age 12 and stopped menstruating at age 55. if she never became pregnant and her menstrual
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

561

Explanation:

This is math so I got you.

This is just going to subtract 12 from 55 since we don't now when during her 12th year of age she started or when during her 55th year f age she ended.

55 - 12 = 43, so about 43 years. Also not going to account for leap years. So we are just going to say each year had 365 days. so 43 years and 365 days per year = 15695 days.

If her cycles were each about 28 days we divide the total number of days by 28 and that tells us about how many cycles there were.

15,695 / 28 = 560.5 which I will round to 561

561 cycles means 561 eggs if my biology knowledge is as accurate as I think it is.

Explanation:

PRO GMO:

Manufacturers use genetic modification to give foods desirable traits. For example, they have designed two new varieties of apple that turn less brown when cut or bruised.

The reasoning usually involves making crops more resistant to diseases as they grow. Manufacturers also engineer produce to be more nutritious or tolerant of herbicides.

Crop protection is the main rationale behind this type of genetic modification. Plants that are more resistant to diseases spread by insects or viruses result in higher yields for farmers and a more attractive product.

Genetically modification can also increase nutritional value or enhance flavor.

All of these factors contribute to lower costs for the consumer. They can also ensure that more people have access to quality food.

CONS of GMO

Because genetically engineering foods is a relatively new practice, little is known about the long-term effects and safety.

There are many purported downsides, but the evidence varies, and the main health issues associated with GMO foods are hotly debated. Research is ongoing.

Some of the cons include: Allergies, Cancer, antibacterial resistance, and outcrossing which refers to the risk of genes from certain GMO plants mixing with those of conventional crops.
