To multiply this you have to make 120 a fraction, and to do this you just put a 1 as the denominator and make 120 the numerator. After that you multiply across.
3 x 120 = 360
10 x 1 = 10
So you get 360/10 which equals 36.
Hope I help you! ^_^

What is 0.4 as a simplified fraction
mestny [16]

Answer: 2/5

Step-by-step explanation: Using the place value chart, we can see that the decimal 0.4 is four tenths, so we can write 0.4 as the fraction 4/10.

Notice however that 4/10 is not in lowest terms so we need to divide the numerator and the denominator by the greatest common factor of 4 and 10 which is 2.

So if we divide the numerator and the denominator by 2, we get the equivalent fraction 2/5.

Therefore, 0.4 can be written as the fraction 2/5 which is in lowest terms.

A list of 8 numbers has a mean of 6. work out the total of the numbers.
VARVARA [1.3K]

Answer:

48

Step-by-step explanation:

The mean of a number is the sum of all the numbers divided by how many numbers there are. We can set up this formula: mean = \frac{sum}{amountnumbers}.

When we plug our values into this equation, we get: 6 = \frac{sum}{8}. Solving this equation gets us sum = 6 * 8 = 48
