I think the statement that says <span>"she was american, just as much as she was korean"

This statement meant that she had embraced the American culture as much as she is she is she was born with her Korean Heritage. I think her the author wanted us to understand how Ji Suk had adapted to her environment.

Answer:

"she <em>was</em> American, just as much as she was Korean, and even though her mother wouldn't have wanted her to do it, starting the food truck was ji-suk's way of honoring her mother and showing that she valued what her mother had taught her."

"she'd become a lawyer, just like her mother wanted, but she'd also learned to love burnt end barbecue, a local culinary favorite."

Explanation:

They make the most sense out of the answers, and they both explain the theme of wanting to embrace new cultural influences rather than old traditions passed on through generations.

Note that these may not be the answers since I am not 100% sure, but I have a strong feeling they are the correct answers.

The belief that minorities are seeking and receiving more benefits than they deserve and a denial that discrimination influences
nata0808 [166]

Answer:

This belief is modern racism.

Explanation:

Modern racism is a more contemporary form of racism. It is not generally expressed so direct but rather in a more indirect and aversive way towards individuals different to one.

It is expressed in a more covertly manner, not necessarily in a direct way but it centers on being prejudicial towards others.

Believing that minorities are seeking for more than they deserve and this type of denial is an example of modern racism because it is being prejudicial against a minority but not expressing it in a directly fashion in which racism is expressed but rather in an indirect way by having this type of opinion.

asambeis [7]
I believe the answer is: Education.
Education is really high-regarded because it could lead to the both social and economic aspect of society in the future.
for example , Denying education would make children unable to pursue various type of careers which could resulted in a shortage of high-skilled labor for future economy.

How do you feel about the new law in Alabama about abortion ?
timama [110]

Answer:

Explanation:

Is this really where people are bringing this stuff to now? A website where students and teachers alike work together to answer "ACADEMIC" questions? Most people like to get away with all the drama that's brought up with politics. Unless this was actually a question assigned to you by your teacher, keep this to yourself please. If you genuinely want to know people's opinions on this subject, just go to social media, watch the news or just even google it. I joined this website about 10 minutes ago but I think i already know that this was something not particularly searched for on this website.
