The slope would be 2 because the sides would have to be perpendicular to each other since it is a rectangle and to get the perpendicular slope, you get the opposite reciprocal of -1/2 which is 2. (drawing it out helps)

Answer:

The slopes of these other two segments would be 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to find these slopes, you need to know that rectangles have right angles. Given this fact, we know these segments are perpendicular to the given segment. This means that we take the current slope (-1/2), we flip it, (-2) and negate it (2) to get the new slope.

Describe polynomial and its type with examples
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

In mathematics, a polynomial is an expression consisting of variables (also called indeterminates) and coefficients, that involves only the operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and non-negative integer exponents of variables. An example of a polynomial of a single indeterminate, x, is x^2 − 4x + 7.

-10y + 18 = -3 (5y - 7) + 5y
Alecsey [184]

Answer:

-10y + 18 = -3 (5y - 7) + 5y

-10y + 18 = -18y + 21 + 5y

-10y + 18 = -13y + 21

Step-by-step explanation:

-10y + 18 = -3 (5y - 7) + 5y

-10y + 18 = -18y + 21 + 5y

-10y + 18 = -13y + 21

I have to find the area of this rectangular prism pls help!!
Nina [5.8K]

Answer:

the surface area is 208

Step-by-step explanation:

formula for surface area is A = 2 (w*l + h*l + h*w )

A = 2 ( 4*8 + 6*8 + 6*4 )

A = 2 ( 32 + 48 + 24 )

A = 2 ( 104 )

A = 208
