Jake needs 8 cups of milk to make a chocolate shake for his family. His measuring device measures liquids by the pint. If 1 pint is equal to 2 cups, how many pints should Jake measure?

 2 cups 
p = 8 cups 
1(8)  = 2 (p)8 = 2($\frac{P}{2p}$) 
$\frac{8}{2} = 4$ 8 ÷ 2 = 4
So, the number of pints would have to be "4 pints"
