A theory is defined to be a scientific principle that is not yet proven to be true. Thus, a theory is a systematized hypothesis. When it is proven to true, the theory becomes a law.

The scope of the theory includes the explanation of natural phenomena using scientific basis. The postulates written in the theory serve as benchmark information in attempt to find the root cause of a social problem. For example, Sigmund Freud's Theory of Three Personalities explain human behavior as it grows from an infant to adult. It encompasses the topic of moral principles, conscience and coordination of cognitive thoughts. This theory is used to help psychiatrists in diagnosing their patients, as well as the possible medications for them.

Answer:

The pet rock

Explanation:

GenaCL600 [577]

Answer: Your first day in a new school, or going to the doctor's for a checkup

Explanation: Scripts define a set of behaviors for a range of familiar situations and help us behave in a socially acceptable manner. For example, if it's your first day in a new school, you know that you need to be directed to your new class, and then asked to introduce yourself before you do so.

Also, in countries where seeing a doctor requires you to make an appointment except in emergencies, you know that you cannot just walk into the doctor's office without calling earlier and asking for a suitable date and time to meet with the doctor.

anzhelika [568]

Answer:

Bernie's progress will hinge on the perceived level of trust which he feels.

Explanation:

Trust is not only the result, but also a preceding condition to the establishment of a therapeutic relationship. When a patient does not feel he can trust the therapist, he does not feel comfortable to open up and share his experiences and emotions, much less to accept any insight coming from the therapist. Bernie will only experience progress in therapy if he senses he can fully trust his therapist, which will make their interactions more comfortable.
