Answer:

Option D

Explanation:

Work is done when an object displaces from its initial position on the application force.

In option A, the car rolls down without the application of force and hence it is not correct.

In option B , Turbine is standing still and hence again there is no force or displacement which could lead to work. Hence, it is also incorrect

In option C, the internal molecules of balloon starts moving after gaining heat energy but there is no displacement of balloon overall and hence the work done is zero.

However, in option D work is done in pedaling the cycle. The number of revolutions of the cycle is counted which is cal-liberated and converted into distance in kilometers. Hence, it is correct

Biological anthropologists have observed several capuchin monkeys in Costa Rica rub themselves with the leaves of the Piper plan
tester [92]

Answer:

Primatology

Explanation:

Primatology is the study of primates' behavior. This is an important science for evolution and human behavioral genesis comprehension. It is also very important to keep these species in freedom and take good care of those animals that are in captivity by keeping in optimum conditions their environment.

Primatology approximation seems to be each time more interdisciplinary, abording it from both the Biological Sciences and the Social and Human Sciences. Different social areas are involved, such as philosophy, anthropology, psychology, among others.

Primatology extends from the anatomy of the primates ancestors to field studies about behavior and the ecology of the current species. It studies the philosophy of primates and their language. Primate language drives to the knowledge about humanity ancestors.

State where bile is synthesized and explain the role of bile in digestion and excretion
earnstyle [38]
Liver secretes bile which is then stored in gall bladder. Bile enters the duodenum via the bile duct. Bile emulsifies lipids, transforming large lumps of lipids into tiny droplets, which provide a larger surface area for digestion. This allow lipid digestion to proceed more rapidly. Bile contains bile acids, which are critical for digestion and absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins in the small intestine. Many waste products, including bilirubin, are eliminated from the body by secretion into bile and elimination in feces.

Some have speculated that the origin of life occurred at geothermal vents. amino acids can form there. compared to the amino aci
cluponka [151]

There are a number of amino acids that have formed under certain environmental conditions if the required elements are present and the energy conditions ar compatible with chemical assembly. These conditions have also allegedly formed amino acids on meteors, asteroids and comets.

But, amino acids are a very minor component of more complex biochemical assemblies required for life. Pentose sugars are also required, which form under different environmental conditions than amino acids. More importantly, only left-handed homochiral amino acids and right-handed homochiral sugars can form functioning biochemical assemblies that are viable in an organism. But, natural conditions, like hydrothermal vents only produce racemic versions of sugars and acids, meaning they are always approx. 50% left and right handed. This is fatal to forming viable biochemical assemblies.

Further, it is not possible for all of the 20+ homochiral amino acids needed for a living organism to form naturally. The only ones found have been the simpler amino acids. Also, the 4 critical nucleotide amino acids, C, G, A, T, do not form naturally, are not homochiral, nor in the right proportions.

The geo/hydrothermal vent conjecture is nonsensical. These are open systems, susceptible to currents, mineral contamination, salinity, ph, and temperature, making them a totally unacceptable environment for the precise and exact placement of elements to assemble to form life.

How do ciliates move?
Scilla [17]

Protozoans that Move with Cilia. These protozoans are called Ciliates and have hundreds of tiny cilia which beat in unison to propel them through the water. ... In addition to locomotion, the Paramecium and other ciliates like the Stentor use cilia to sweep food down into their central channel or gullet.
