The Aztecs would capture their enemies because they would use them as human sacrifices to appease their gods. They felt that they owed everything to their deities, so sacrificing the blood of those they caught was considered one way of showing their gratitude.

The Aztecs were an empire meaning they conquered other people. They were a conquering empire just like Rome. That in itself is a really really difficult thing to do because if you conquer people you then have to rule over people and that's difficult to do.

The Aztecs were very brutal and they are most famous for human sacrifice. The numbers of people that they sacrificed is unimaginable and they had a very specific reason to sacrifice. They weren't cannibals necessarily but generally speaking, the Aztecs weren't cannibals but instead did human sacrifice for religious purposes.

iVinArrow [24]

Answer:

Granada

Explanation:

The part of Muslim Spain that resisted the Christians the longest is GRANADA.

Following the rule of Muslims in Spain for over 700 years, the Christians began to conquer the Muslim states in the Iberian peninsula particularly modern-day Spain.

In the period known as Reconquista around the 13th century, it was only Granada that remains out of all the city-states being ruled by the Muslims. Granada eventually falls during the Granada war in the late 15th century.

Answer: Great Zimbabwe

Explanation:

Great Zimbabwe was the capital of an ancient empire in modern day Zimbabwe. There is a lot that is unknown about the empire that this city was the capital of but the city itself is a testament to the architectural prowess of its people and at its height, the city is said to have housed 18,000 people.

The name Zimbabwe is derived from the local Shona language and it means "stone buildings". The "Great" is added to signify that this city is the largest of the various other stone buildings that have been discovered.
