You need to use PEMDAS
So first you do the parenthesis.
8*1=8.
So now re-write the problem.
50+10*8+2
Now you are going to multiply.
10*=80
Now re-write the problem again.
10+80+2
10+80=90+2=92
So the answer to this problem is 92.

You should use PEMDAS
(parenthesis, exponents, multiply, divide, add, and subtract)

How is the series 9 + 13+ 17+ ... + 149 represented in summation notation?
VLD [36.1K]

Notice that

13 - 9 = 4

17 - 13 = 4

so it's likely that each pair of consecutive terms in the sum differ by 4. This means the last term, 149, is equal to 9 plus some multiple of 4 :

149 = 9 + 4k

140 = 4k

k = 140/4

k = 35

This tells you there are 35 + 1 = 36 terms in the sum (since the first term is 9 plus 0 times 4, and the last term is 9 plus 35 times 4). Among the given options, only the first choice contains the same amount of terms.

Put another way, we have

\displaystyle 9 + 13 + 17 + \cdots + 149 = \sum_{k=0}^{35} (9 + 4k)

but if we make the sum start at k = 1, we need to replace every instance of k with k - 1, and accordingly adjust the upper limit in the sum.

\displaystyle 9 + 13 + 17 + \cdots + 149 = \sum_{k-1=0}^{35+1} (9 + 4(k-1))

\displaystyle 9 + 13 + 17 + \cdots + 149 = \sum_{k=1}^{36} (5 + 4k)

How many flyers can we buy?
Rudiy27

Answer: 1760

Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of 1 flyer = $0.25 or 25 cents

Budget is = $555

Let us assume that supplies cost is a one time cost

Cost of supplies for one time = $115

So budget remains =

So in $0.25 we get = 1 flyer

In $440 we get =  = 1760

Hence, we can buy 1760 flyers.

hope this helped

You are using an exponential smoothing model for forecasting. The running sum of the forecast error statistics (RSFE) is calcula
faltersainse [42]

Answer:

A)85

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculation for the resulting tracking signal

Using this formula

Tracking signal= Last forecast error statistics (RSFE) /Low MAD (Mean Absolute Deviation)

Let plug in the formula

Tracking signal=34/0.4

Tracking signal=85

Therefore the resulting tracking signal will be 85

Write the definition of midpoint, provide a supporting figure
givi [52]

Step-by-step explanation: Using the diagram shown which I have provided in the image attached, the definition of a midpoint states that M is the midpoint of segment LN, then segment LN ≅ to MN.

The definition of a midpoint can also be stated the other way around. using the diagram shown, if segment LN ≅ to segment MN, then M is the midpoint of segment LN.

We can use hash marks in the figure to show that are 2 segments are congruent.
