A chemistry teacher adds 50.0 mL of 1.50 M H2SO4 solution to 200 mL of water. What is the concentration of the final solution? U
Aleks [24]
Hello!

The concentration of the final solution when a chemistry teacher adds 50.0 mL of 1.50 M H2SO4 solution to 200 mL of water is 0,3 M

To calculate that, you'll need to use the dilution law, where initial and final concentrations are M1 and M2 respectively, and initial and final volumes are V1 and V2, as shown below. Keep in mind that the final volume is the sum of the 200 mL of water and the 50 mL of H₂SO₄ that were added by the teacher.

M2= \frac{M1*V1}{V2}= \frac{1,50 (mol H_2SO_4/L)*50mL}{(50 mL + 200 mL)}=0,3(mol H_2SO_4/L)

Have a nice day!

Arrange the isotopes of sulfur and phosphorus in order of decreasing number of neutrons.
Monica [59]
I do not believe you're asking this...
OK. Sulfur has a total of 24 isotopes. Every isotope has 16 protons and the number of neutrons ranges from 10 to 33 inclusive.
Phosphorus has a total of 23 isotopes. They have 15 protons, and between 9 and 31 neutrons inclusive. So here we go.

All chemical reactions have a conservation of(1) mass, only(2) mass and charge, only(3) charge and energy, only(4) mass, charge,
Semenov [28]
All chemical reactions have a conversation of mass and energy.

Because:- There are only two laws for conversation in a chemical reaction. The conversation of mass, no mass can be created nor destroyed. Also, the law of conversation of mass states that no energy can be created nor destroyed in a chemical reaction. The charge can obviously change because they can bond and change charges.
