When designing a building, you must be sure that the building can withstand hurricane force winds, which have a velocity of 73mi

/h or more. The formula f = 0.004av2 gives the force f in pounds exerted by a wind blowing against a flat surface. A is the area of the surface in square feet and v is the wind velocity in miles per hour. How much force is exerted by a wind blowing at 81 mi/h against the side of the building shown?

Answer- 42646.50 pounds

Area of flat surface = Area of rectangle + area of triangle

                                = 12.9*25 + 1/2* 7.2* 25

                                 = 162.5 feet^2

Force exerted by wind =0 .004 * Area * velocity^2

                                      = 42646.50 pounds

Given that the mean is $9.5 and the standard deviation is $1.30, the standard error will be given by:
σ/√n
where
σ-standard deviation
n=sample size

thus, we shal have:
1.30/√20
=0.2906
Next we find the margin error
0.2906*2=0.581
thus the confidence interval will be:
(9.5+0.581, 9.5-0.581)

Answer:

C) \frac{2}{4}, \frac{2}{3}, \frac{7}{10}, \frac{4}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given fractions:

\frac{2}{4}, \frac{4}{5}, \frac{7}{10},\frac{2}{3}

To arrange the fractions from least to greatest.

Solution:

In order to arrange the fractions from least to greatest, we need to make the denominators common by taking LCD.

LCD of 4,5,10,3 can be found using their multiples.

4= 4,8,12,16,20,24,28,32,36,40,.........60

5= 5,10,15,20,25,30,.........60

10= 10,20,30,40,50,60

3= 3,6,9..........................60

So, 60 is the LCD.

Making the denominators common by multiplying same numbers to numerator and denominator.

\frac{2}{4}=\frac{2\times 15}{4\times 15}=\frac{30}{60}

\frac{4}{5}=\frac{4\times12}{5\times 12}=\frac{48}{60}

\frac{7}{10}=\frac{7\times 6}{10\times 6}=\frac{42}{60}

\frac{2}{3}=\frac{2\times 20}{3\times 20}=\frac{40}{60}

Comparing the numerators we can arrange the fractions.

\frac{2}{4}, \frac{2}{3}, \frac{7}{10}, \frac{4}{5}
