Let Michelle be x.
Jeremy has 5 more than Michelle = x +5
Carlos has 10 more than Jeremy = (x+ 5) + 10 = x + 15

Together they all have $80

x + (x+5) + (x+15) = 80
x + x + x + 5 + 15 = 80
3x + 20 = 80
3x = 80 - 20
3x = 60
x = 60/3 = 20

Michelle has x, which is = 20

Michelle has $20.

ICE Princess25 [194]

The mean is 10,724.28.

Explanation:

The mean is all of the values divided by the number of values there are.

So what you have to do is add all of the numbers and divide it by the amount of numbers there are.

10,150+10,211+10,424+10,769+10,884+11,155+11,477= 75,070.

Since there are 7 numbers, divide 75,070/7 and you get your mean, which is 10,724.28 rounded.

Find the area of the following shape and Explanation Please its timed 5 minutes
bixtya [17]

Answer:

10 units squared

Step-by-step explanation:

Looking at the figure, we can observe that it consists of two triangles: one on the left of the y-axis and one on the right. This means that we can find the separate areas of each triangle and then sum them to get the total area.

The area of a triangle is denoted by: A = (1/2) * b * h, where b is the base and h is the height.

Left Triangle:

The base is 4 and the height is 4, so the area is:

A = (1/2) * b * h

A = (1/2) * 4 * 4 = (1/2) * 16 = 8 units squared

Right Triangle:

The base is 2 and the height is 2, so the area is:

A = (1/2) * b * h

A = (1/2) * 2 * 2 = (1/2) * 4 = 2 units squared

The total area is 8 + 2 = 10 units squared.
