Describe how an infeasible solution occurs

Mathematics

Answer:

Described

Step-by-step explanation:

A solution becomes infeasible when no solution exit and which satisfies all the constraints. We will consider two basic types of infeasibility. The 1st we will call continuous infeasibility and the second one is discrete or integer infeasibility. Continuous infeasibility is the one where a non–MIP problem is infeasible. In this case the feasible region defined by the intersecting constraints is empty. Discrete or integer infeasibility is the one  where a MIP problem has a feasible relaxation (note that a relaxation of a MIP is the problem we get when we drop the discreteness required on the variables) but the feasible region of the relaxation contains no solution that satisfies the discreteness requirement.

The point (-7,4) in on the terminal side of an angle t. Find sec (t) to two decimal places.
Sliva [168]

Answer:

  -1.15

Step-by-step explanation:

The tangent of the angle can be found as ...

  tan(t) = (y-coordinate)/(x-coordinate) = -4/7

The secant of the angle is related by ...

  sec(t)² = tan(t)² +1 = (-4/7)² +1 = 65/49

Then the secant of this 2nd-quadrant angle is ...

  sec(t) = -√(65/49) = -(√65)/7 ≈ -1.15

Math im soooooooooooooo baaaaaaaaaaaadddddddddddddd
storchak [24]

Answer:

The correct answer is A, 73

Step-by-step explanation:

First we have to arrange the whole numbers in ascending order. i-e from smallest to largest. Showing it as follows:

53 54 59 62 64 65 66 68 70 71 75 78 79 79 83 83 86 90 91 94

Now we would find the median by taking the middle number. But this series consists of even numbers. There are 20 numbers. So we will take the middle two numbers and find their average like follows:

71 + 75 = 146/2  = 73

The answer is 73

Find the difference and the next three terms -10 -20 -30
Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

- 40, - 50, - 60

Step-by-step explanation:

Note the common difference d between consecutive terms of the sequence.

- 20 - (- 10) = - 20 + 10 = - 10

- 30 - (- 20) = - 30 + 20 = - 10

Thus the difference d = - 10

To obtain a term in the sequence subtract 10 from the previous term

- 30 - 10 = - 40

- 40 - 10 = - 50

- 50 - 10 = - 60

The next 3 terms are - 40, - 50, - 60
