From the pool of 5 letters, we're picking 4. We can arrange the 4 we picked in 4!=24 ways.

But there are 5 ways of *not* picking the remaining letter. To account for the arrangements containing the letter not picked, we multiply this total by 5.

Put another way, suppose we drew a, b, c, and d, but not e. We have 24 possible arrangements for these 4 letters, but for any distinct arrangement there are 5 ways of replacing any letter with e.

So the number of arrangements we can actually make is 5!=120.

The general rule for a linear equation is y=mx+c where m is the slope or gradient... therefore the slope is 3.

Now we need to get 2 points on the line.

You can easily get the y-int by substituting x=0 into the equation... therefore the y-int is 11... you have one point on the line: (0,11)

Now that you have one point and we know the gradient or slope which is 3, go from the point you have found (0,11) and go up 3 and across 1 to find a second point... then simply rule a line in between the two points.

give answer here:

<u><em>These are Function (7,2), (1,1), (8,1), (4,2), (3,11) These are not Functions (7,2), (1,1), (8,1), (4,2), (1,11) </em></u>

step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>The first set is a function i know this because for example the inputs which are 7,1,8,4,3 are buyers for a car and the output is 2,1,1,2,1 1 and those are the cars but the input is different buyers, The 2nd one has two of the same inputs which means the same buyer is buying two cars which is not fair so it makes it a non function.</em></u>
