The correct answer is - C. -1.9 C degrees.

The sea ice in the polar oceans needs little lower temperatures to start forming than what it would need if it was't forming on a saline water. The freshwater starts freezing as the temperature goes bellow 0 C degrees, but that is not the case with the saline water. The saline water, because of the salt that prevents the freezing to a certain point, needs temperature of -1.9 C degrees to start freezing. Once this temperature is reached, the salt can not prevent the freezing anymore, so the water on the polar oceans starts to freeze.

In which of the following situations do you think current will flow
anzhelika [568]

Answer:

Source of current, force and pathway.

Explanation:

Source of current, force and pathway are the three important things needed or responsible for the current flow. A supply of electric charges (electrons) which is provided by the electric source, force of push to move the charges through the circuit and a pathway on which current flows. Without these three things, flow of current is impossible. so we can say that the situation in which all these three things are present will allow the current to flow in the circuit.

If air in a pump is squeezed more, then the air gets hotter because energy is added to it.

Explanation:

A good hypothesis in the given case is that inflating basketball is getting warmer, the more it is pumped, and as a result, it would possess more heat or more friction due to all the air being pumped into the basketball at a single time.
