The correct answer is - C. -1.9 C degrees.

The sea ice in the polar oceans needs little lower temperatures to start forming than what it would need if it was't forming on a saline water. The freshwater starts freezing as the temperature goes bellow 0 C degrees, but that is not the case with the saline water. The saline water, because of the salt that prevents the freezing to a certain point, needs temperature of -1.9 C degrees to start freezing. Once this temperature is reached, the salt can not prevent the freezing anymore, so the water on the polar oceans starts to freeze.

Carnivorous plants have enzymes that are able to break down the proteins of the insects and small animals that they ingest. The
Ivahew [28]

Answer:

Convergent Evolution

Explanation:

Convergent evolution is the development of similar traits, across many lineages by plants and animals who originally do not have these traits but developed them because of the biome that they find themselves. Carnivorous plants are examples of living things that have undergone carnivorous evolution.

Plants lacking in Nitrogen have undergone carnivorous evolution for up to seven lineages. Sundews for instance have developed flypaper traps, a carnivorous property that helps them trap insects that they eventually digest.

Which cells contain this organelle: plant cells, animal cells, or both
Fiesta28 [93]

Structurally, plant and animal cells are very similar because they are both eukaryotic cells. They both contain membrane-bound organelles such as the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, lysosomes, and peroxisomes. Both also contain similar membranes, cytosol, and cytoskeletal elements.
