Absolute strength refers to the maximum force exerted by a body irrespective of body size. Relative strength on the other hand is the force exerted by a body in relation to muscle size or body weight.

So the answer is: C. Absolute strength measures strength regardless of your body size, while relative strength measures strength adjusted for your weight.

The full question is this:

Some E.coli are harmless while some are pathogenic and can cause diseases such as diarrhea. The E.coli that cause diarrhea can be transmitted through contaminated food or water. Mr. B came in to the ER with two broken ribs and a punctured lung. Why did they have to insert a chest tube into his pleural spa
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

Mr. B developed a neumotorax, therefore doctors inserted a chest tube to alleviate the pressure.

Explanation:

When a lung is punctured, air flows into the pleural space and because of the pressure it generates, it does not allow for the lung to expand normally. In this case, is best to insert a tube that enables air to leave the cavity and alleviates the pressure on the lung. In this way the lung can expand properly again.
