The difference between both terms lies in the following:

the concept of news gives name to the content of information that has never been communicated before. In other words, the news constitutes new knowledge or knowledge. In most cases the news is disseminated by large media, so these media are the ones that decide to do enfacis in the different crimes, in the criminals and in the situation in which it occurred. siniylev [52]

Answer:

Affirmative action programs for under-represented minorities.

Explanation:

Affirmative action is defied as a policy where the race, color, sex, national origin or religion are considered to increase the opportunities provided to an underrepresented section of the society. It supports members of any disadvantage group or minorities who have discriminated in areas of housing, employment and education.

In the context, The University of California took the affirmative actions against the disadvantaged minorities to provide admission to them despite the Federal court decision in California v. Bakke (1978) to prohibit the use of the quota system to get admission in the university.

Answer:

Following Germany's unprovoked attack on Belgium in violation of Belgian neutrality, Great Britain declared war on Germany is a TRUE statement.

Explanation:

  • The German Confederation despite being a signatory to the treaty that ensured the protection of Belgium's neutrality attacked Belgium. This action was not welcomed by Great Britain and was responded to by calling a war against Germany.
