He uses quatrains. The rhyme scheme of the quatrains is abab cdcd efef. The structure of his sonnet is that there are fourteen lines and the first twelve lines are divided into three quatrains with four lines each. In each quatrains, the poet develops a problem and resolves it in the final two lines which is called "couplet".
