Option B:

Surface area of the solid is 730 square millimeters.

Solution:

Area of the rectangle = length × breadth

Length of the top net = (25 + 8 + 8) mm = 41 mm

Breadth of the top net = 5 mm

Area of the Top net = 41 mm × 5 mm

                                 = 205 square mm

Area of the second net = 25 mm × 8 mm

                                 = 200 square mm

Area of the third net = 25 mm × 5 mm

                                  = 125 square mm

Area of the bottom net = 25 mm × 8 mm

                                       = 200 square mm

Surface area of the solid = 205 mm + 200 mm + 125 mm + 200 mm

                                         = 730 square mm

Hence surface area of the solid is 730 square millimeters.

Option A is the correct answer.

Working out:

(ax - by) / c = d

1)Multiply by c on both sides to get:
ax - by = cd

2) Add by on both sides to get:

The area of the closet floor is 18 feet. If Saroya buys 32 tiles will she have enough to cover the floor?
kvasek [131]
No shel will not have enough tile. If you don't know the dimensions of the actual tile how will you solve. If you have a closet 18 square feet it could be 9 ' x 2 ' = 18 square feet. If the tiles were 12" x 6" you would need 36 tiles. If the closet was 6' x 3' = 18 square feet you could have the tiles 12" x 6" = 36 tiles. So you need to know the dimensions of the tile.

Solve for x:
-3(2x+1) + 3x = 6x + 3
Help!!
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

b x =-2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

-3(2x+1) + 3x = 6x + 3

Distribute

-6x -3 +3x =6x+3

Combine like terms

-3x-3 = 6x+3

Add 3x to each side

-3x+3x-3 = 6x+3x+3

-3 = 9x+3

Subtract 3 from each side

-3-3 = 9x+3-3

-6 = 9x

Divide by 9

-6/9 = 9x/9

-2/3 =x
