Answer:

5/6

Step-by-step explanation:

fractions! exciting :D

what you wanna do is get them to a common denominator, or bottom. In this case, the least common factor between 2 and 3 is six. To get that common denominator we should cross multiply-

That is, we'll take the denominator in 1/2, 2, and multiply it to both the numerator and denominator of our second fraction, making it 2/6. 2/6 is equal to 1/3 ! We can then do the same from 1/3 to 1/2, multiplying both 1 and 2 by three. That gives us 3/6 , which is equivalent to 1/2! I'mma include a visual below to make sure this makes sense because I may not be explaining it the best.

So, now we have 3/6 + 2/6 , and because we have common denominators we can just add across the top. That gives us 5/6 as the final answer.

First the common denominator has to be 6. So to get to 6 you multiply the 2 by 3 and the numerator by 3 giving 3 over 6 then you multiply 3 times 2 to get to 6 so the following fraction is 2 over 6. So when u add the two together it gives you 5 6ths

Which of the following is true of rounding the optimized solution of a linear program to an integer?
VashaNatasha [74]

Answer: Option 'c' is correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

the optimized solution of a linear program to an integer as it does not affect the value of the objective function.

As if we round the optimized solution to the nearest integer, it does not change the objective function .

while it is not true that it always produces the most optimal integer solution or feasible solution.

Hence, Option 'c' is correct.

What’s 1/5 divided by 1/12?
Ksivusya [100]
When divided fractions you flip the second fraction

1/5 x 12/1

This then equals
12/5

That simplifies to 2 2/5

Given the following trigonometric ratio, enumerate the meaning ratio
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer:

The trigonometric ratios are presented below:

\sin \theta = \frac{AC}{\sqrt{AC^{2} + BC^{2}}}

\cos \theta = \frac{BC}{\sqrt{AC^{2} + BC^{2}}}

\cot \theta = \frac{BC}{AC}

\sec \theta = \frac{\sqrt{AC^{2}+BC^{2}}}{BC}

\csc \theta = \frac{\sqrt{AC^{2}+BC^{2}}}{AC}

Step-by-step explanation:

From Trigonometry we know the following definitions for each trigonometric ratio:

Sine

\sin \theta = \frac{y}{h} (1)

Cosine

\cos \theta = \frac{x}{h} (2)

Tangent

\tan \theta = \frac{\sin \theta}{\cos \theta} = \frac{y}{x} (3)

Cotangent

\cot \theta = \frac{\cos \theta}{\sin \theta} = \frac{x}{y} (4)

Secant

\sec \theta = \frac{1}{\cos \theta} = \frac{h}{x} (5)

Cosecant

\csc \theta = \frac{1}{\sin \theta} = \frac{h}{y} (6)

Where:

x - Adjacent leg.

y - Opposite leg.

h - Hypotenuse.

The length of the hypotenuse is determined by the Pythagorean Theorem:

h = \sqrt{x^{2}+y^{2}}

If y = AC and x = BC, then the trigonometric ratios are presented below:

\sin \theta = \frac{AC}{\sqrt{AC^{2} + BC^{2}}}

\cos \theta = \frac{BC}{\sqrt{AC^{2} + BC^{2}}}

\cot \theta = \frac{BC}{AC}

\sec \theta = \frac{\sqrt{AC^{2}+BC^{2}}}{BC}

\csc \theta = \frac{\sqrt{AC^{2}+BC^{2}}}{AC}
