What are two diffrences between replication and transcription?
Ghella [55]
Replication - The action of copying or reproducing something.
DNA replication of producing two identical replicas of DNA from one original DNA molecule.

Transcription - First step to gene expression, in which a particular segment of DNA is copied into RNA (especially mRNA) by the enzyme RNA polymerase. Both DNA and RNA are nucleic acids, which use base pairs of nucleotides as a complementary language.

1.) Transcription involved both DNA and RNA, whilst replication only involves DNA.
2.) Replication uses two identical replicas of DNA, whilst transcription is copied.

Hope I helped.

Almost all cells in an animal (except gametes) have __ sets of chromosomes? in other words, how many homologs for a particular c
anastassius [24]
The answer is 2. This is why their autosomal cells are referred to as diploid in chromosome number. The gametes have only one set of chromosomes. The homologous pair (sister chromosome) separate during meiosis I. If there was an extra chromosome in addition to this set then this would cause a condition called aneuploidy.

  • Protected areas in some places are the last refuge for animals and plant species for safety.
  • The larger a protected area is, the better and more advanced an organisms niche can be.
  • A small protected area limits the niches of roaming animals and makes it difficult to seek for resources out of their limited scope.
