C_{m}=\frac{n}{V_{r}}\\\\
n=\frac{m_{s}}{M}\\\\
C_{m}=\frac{m_{s}}{MV_{r}} \ \ \ |*MV_{r}\\\\
C_{m}MV_{r}=m_{s} \ \ \ |:C_{m}M\\\\
V_{r}=\frac{m_{s}}{C_{m}M}\\\\\\
m=2.5kg=2500g\\
M=74.55\frac{g}{mol}\\
C_{m}=2\frac{mol}{L}\\\\
V_{r}=\frac{2500g}{2\frac{mol}{L}*74.55\frac{g}{mol}}\approx16.77L

Which pair of atoms would form a covalent bond ?
AysviL [449]
Answer:- Nonmetals can form different types of bonds depending on their partner atoms. Ionic bonds form when a nonmetal and a metal exchange electrons, while covalent bonds form when electrons are shared between two nonmetals.

How does specific heat and heat transfer relate to remote islands
Vladimir79 [104]
Heat capacity is the ability of a material to store heat, higher the heat capacity higher the amount to heat stored by the material. Heat transfer usually varies inversely with heat capacity, i.e heat transfer will decrease with increase in heat capacity and vice versa. Thermal diffusivity is the ratio of thermal conductivity to the heat capacity, it says how fast (or slow) heat is transferred inside a material. Usually thermal diffusivity is directly proportional to the heat transfer rate, since heat capacity appears on the denominator, heat transfer is inversely proportional to the heat capacity.

According to the bohr model, what determines the shortest wavelength in a given series of wavelengths emitted by the atom?
algol13

According to the bohr model "The lower energy level into which the electron deflects from a higher energy level is designated by the quantum number nf" determines the shortest wavelength in a given series of wavelengths emitted by the atom.

By explaining that electrons move in fixed orbitals (shells) and not anywhere in between, Bohr theory amended the atomic structure model.

He also showed that each orbit (shell) has a fixed energy. Bohr refined Rutherford's model of the atom's nucleus to include electrons and their varying energy levels.

According to Rydberg formula

1/λ = R [1/ni² - 1/nf²]

λ = wavelength

R = Rydberg constant

ni & nf are integers or principal quantum numbers where nf > ni

So if we want wavelength(λ) to be shortest, then 1/nf should be zero.

In this way , it depends on nf and not on ni

That's why the lower energy level into which the electron deflects from a higher energy level is designated by the quantum number nf" determines the shortest wavelength in a given series of wavelengths emitted by the atom.
