I would probably drink a small amount of ocean water in 20 monute intervals, to not over dehydrate myself. This would probably give me enough time to go find other sources of water on the island (eg. coconuts) tp get clean water. In my opinion, this would be a better option than drinking contaminated fresh water. There is a higher risk of getting infected by the bacteria in the water, which would be why its better to take the contaminated fresh water only as a last resort option.

I'm not really sure what I just typed but hopefully it makes some kind of sense to you☺

For my opinion I will drink a contaminated fresh water. But first I will filter the water with clean towel or maybe with clean sock. The reason why I not choose sea water because sea water is dangerous for human because it contain hight amount of salt(to much sodium can kill us).Human kidney can only produce salty urine lesser than salty sea water.

Why is the ocean so salty(where did the salt come from?)
Ann [662]
The salt in the ocean comes from the rocks on land. The rain that falls onto land caontains some kind of dissovled carbon dioxide from the air. And that causes the water to be a bit acid to carbolic acid. Also rain replenishes freshwater in rivers and streams, so they don’t taste salty. However, the water in the ocean collects all of the salt and minerals from all of the rivers that flow into it.<span>
