Solve for x.<br> x + 7/6 = 2x - 7/6
storchak [24]
X + 7/6  = 2x - 7/6

x + 7/6 (-7/6) = 2x - 7/6 - (7/6)

x = 2x - 14/6

x (-2x) = 2x (-2x) - 14/6

-x = -14/6

x = 14/6 or 2.33

x = 2.33

hope this helps

If 225.00 yields 27.00 in x years as simple interest at the rate of 4% per annum find x
Lyrx [107]

Answer:

3 years

Step-by-step explanation:

By simple interest formula:

i =  \frac{prt}{100}  \\  \\ 27 =  \frac{225 \times 4 \times x}{100}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{27 \times 100}{900}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{2700}{900}  \\  \\ x = 3 \: years

A cone has a radius of 9 and a height of 22. What is the approximate volume of the cylinder? Round to the nearest tenth where ne
ryzh [129]

Answer

Answer: Volume = 9025.8 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

--------------------------------------------------------

Find Radius :

--------------------------------------------------------

Base area = πr²

169π = πr²

r² = 169

r = √169

r = 13 cm

--------------------------------------------------------

Find height :

--------------------------------------------------------

Height = 13 + 4

Height = 17 cm

--------------------------------------------------------

Find Volume :

--------------------------------------------------------

Volume = πr²h

Volume = π(13)²(17)

Volume = 9025.8 cm³

--------------------------------------------------------

Answer: Volume = 9025.8 cm³

Please help , I have no idea of how to do this
Misha Larkins [42]
Hello!

The time difference between checkpoint 1 and checkpoint 2 is an hour and a half.
At checkpoint A, the total amount of miles driven is 120. At checkpoint B, the total amount of miles driven is 195.
To find the amount of miles driven between checkpoint 1 and 2, you will subtract the amount of miles at checkpoint 1 from checkpoint 2:
195-120= 75

The car drove 75 miles between 1:00pm to 2:30 pm. Because the total time between the checkpoints was an hour and a half, we can divide it by three (90 minutes total). We also need to divide the number of miles (75) by three to find an accurate answer.
90/3=30
75/3=25

The car drove 25 minutes in half an hour. Now, one hour consists of 60 minutes, so we will multiply both calculations by 2 (for the total hour and the total amount of miles driven in the hour):
30x2=60
25x2=50

The car drove 50 miles per hour between checkpoints A and B.

I hope this helps you! Have a great day!
